AquaPool parties · booked 2 weeks ahead
AquaPool parties in the water
Birthdays, graduations, holidays, retirements and awards, held in a pool with a water workout set to music for adults and children.
Five occasions, one pool, all ages
An AquaPool party is held for a birthday, a graduation, a holiday, a retirement or an award. The guest list can be adults, children, or both in the same water at the same time.
The party is run by a swim school, so it is built around moving in water: a workout with music, equipment that floats, and a lifeguard count worked out before the date is set.

What happens once everyone is in
The program is an aqua-aerobic water workout set to music. The school says its instructors go in the water with students and teach by demonstrating, and the party workout comes from the same school.
Noodles and toys are in the water for the guests, and there are giveaways for the party. The school also offers Aquatic Wetsuit Attire, which it describes as chic and state of the art, for guests who want to be in the water in something other than a swimsuit.
Instructors are American Red Cross certified lifeguards with CPR, AED and First Aid training, and the number of lifeguards a party needs is part of how it is priced.
Where the pool is, and what it costs
Inside New York City, AquaSkills provides its own pool. Outside the city, in the Hamptons, on the North Shore of Long Island, in New Jersey, in Connecticut or in Upstate New York, the client provides the pool and AquaSkills brings the program to it.
Parties are priced per project, from the guest count and the lifeguards needed. There is a minimum charge, and extended hours cost extra. The school does not post party prices online, so the number comes from a conversation: text (646) 724-7024 with the date, the occasion and how many guests are coming.
Book two weeks ahead. That is the school's notice requirement for every party.
AquaPool parties are booked two weeks ahead and priced per project. Text (646) 724-7024 or call (212) 206-6976.
Before the party and after it
A guest who spends the afternoon in the water and decides they want to swim properly can start with the $98 intro class, described on the adult swim lessons page. Parents planning a party for children can read how the school teaches them on the children’s swim lessons page.
The school’s pool, 60 feet long and 15 feet wide at about 88°F all year, is the room its lessons are taught in. Shoots with cameras are a separate service, described on the film, TV and stunt swimming page.
